President's Message

The Canadian Public Works Association and our current Manitoba Chapter President, Garry Pekrul (right), invite you to join us and share in the wide variety of benefits the CPWA has to offer.

Representing communities and companies from across the province, our members are proud of our professional and technical education programs, legislative involvement, awards programs and public events!

As a broad-based association, we represent members involved in:

• Road and street maintenance
• Solid waste collection and disposal
• Municipal water and wastewater operations
• Storm water management
• Transportation
• Traffic control
• Fleet maintenance
• Building and grounds maintenance

Our chapter is always looking for new members and volunteers wishing to become more involved. The camaraderie and teamwork that comes with membership can build a continuous sense of contribution. Our regular networking and exchange of information has improved the efficiency and operations of public works departments throughout the province.
