Infrastructure Services Manager
The Rural Municipality of Springfield is a progressive, growing municipality with over 15,000 residents located on the eastern border of Winnipeg. The Infrastructure Services Manager reports directly to Public Works Director and is responsible for the development, supervision and execution of capital engineering projects and the supervision of subdivision developments. This includes overseeing new construction, modifications and continuous improvement initiatives while leading external contractors.

The Infrastructure Services Manager will plan and direct the design, procurement, cost scheduling, contract documentation and project execution in a manner consistent with good engineering practices, municipal policies, and health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a CET diploma combined with a minimum of 3 years of extensive engineering project management or development supervision experience. Other key attributes include: self-motivation and the ability to work independently, attention to detail; excellent communication skills; and the knowledge of construction contract preparation and administration.

This is a full time position and the RM of Springfield offers a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan. Salary is to be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
